June-August 2008

*     What is the "Emerging Church" movement? Is it on target?  How do we decide what's on target?!

*       Beginning in June and carrying through the summer we will review the  thinking of  Donald Miller  (Blue Like Jazz), Shane Claiborne (Irresistible Revolution),  Rob Bell (Sex God, Velvet Elvis), and Brian McLaren (A New Kind of Christian)....et. al.

*       How are these guys alike? Different?  Is the "Emerging Church" a good thing?  How should we relate to it?

*       Should the church be "emerging" and if so from what to what?
